Description

Due to demand from commercial users, we are offering the chance to purchase class 2 a much cheaper product, but please be aware these sticks are only 10mm or less thick so do not have the same shelf life as a Premium grade. CLASS 2 is perfect for preserves pies crumbles and wines etc where chunks of rhubarb are not required when cooked

Please note: There is only 6kg in Class 2 boxes, not 7kg as in Premium boxes.

Commercial users can order top-and-tailed or chopped Class 2 rhubarb for collection at the farm as usual (large amounts only). Price available upon request.

Potential new customers can telephone 0113 2822245 to discuss and must order directly by phone to arrange a collection date.

Janet Oldroyd Hulme
“I dedicate this website to all growers past and present and their devoted staff. All horticulturalists over the years who have devoted themselves to the improvement of this plant and development of the industry, in particular, the late Mr F G Smith, Mr J D Whitwell , Mr M R Bradley. The celebrity chefs and journalists who have helped promote the crop and develop new recipes, but most of all to my father, whose love for, and faith in, both the crop and the industry helped to ensure continued production of forced rhubarb for years to come.”
